USA stun Pakistan in a thrilling Super Over match

After their Group A encounter in Dallas on Thursday went to a thrilling Super Over finish, the United States defeated Pakistan in the T20 World Cup.
Saurabh Netravalkar, a fast bowler, remained composed as Pakistan, the 2009 champions and runner-ups in the 2022 T20 World Cup, could muster only 13-1 in response.
Pakistan was asked into bat in their opening match of the competition and were limited to 159-7, with left-arm pacer Netravalkar, who was born in India, taking a meagre 2-18.
After defeating Canada in their initial game, the tournament co-hosts, the United States, closed their innings with a stunning four from Nitish Kumar off a last-ball full toss from Haris Rauf. They finished at 159-3.
Entrusted with the Super Over, Pakistani veteran Mohammad Amir bowled multiple wides with panicky fielding, which resulted in wild overthrows and helped the United States score eighteen runs.
With the third ball of his Super Over, Netravalkar bowled a wide, but Kumar expertly caught Iftikhar Ahmed low and away in the deep with his next delivery.
