The 15-player roster for the forthcoming three-match Twenty20 International series against the West Indies has been revealed by Cricket South Africa (CSA). Rassie van der Dussen, a middle-order batsman, will captain the national team even though he is not included in the Proteas team for the T20 World Cup.
The Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica, will host all three Twenty20 International matches. May 23 will see the start of the series, while May 26 will see the conclusion. Beginning on June 1, the forthcoming series will be an essential part of both sides' preparation for the T20 World Cup 2024.
Aiden Markram and David Miller, two important batters, will be rested by CSA for the series. This is an attempt to preserve player freshness for the next ICC event. In Markram's absence, Rassie van der Dussen will captain the South African squad on this Caribbean tour.
For IPL 2024, Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, and Heinrich Klaasen are still in India. Kagiso Rabada, meanwhile, withdrew from the competition early in order to heal from an injury. Notwithstanding his team's elimination from the IPL 2024, Tristan Stubbs is not part of the roster.
The team includes Gerald Coetzee, Quinton de Kock, and Anrich Nortje. Members of the T20 World Cup squad, including Ryan Rickleton, Lungi Ngidi, Tabraiz Shamsi, Reeza Hendricks, and Ottneil Baartman, have also been chosen to
