India will play Bangladesh on THIS date in the 2024 T20 World Cup warm-up schedule, according to the ICC.
The schedule for the 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA and the West Indies has been released by the International Cricket Council (ICC). On June 1, Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, will play a single practice match against Bangladesh at a location to be determined.
The warm-up matches will come to an end with the India vs. Bangladesh encounter, since the T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled to start that day with a Group A contest between Canada and the tournament's co-hosts, the USA.
The ICC released the complete schedule of warm-up matches for the 2024 T20 World Cup on May 16, which is a few weeks before the competition begins. Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas will host the first of the 16 practice matches on May 27 when Canada takes against Nepal.
The next day, test-playing countries including Australia, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka will play their respective warm-up matches against the Netherlands, the United States, and Namibia.
Out of the twenty teams who are competing, 17 teams will play at least one warm-up. Interestingly, on May 29 in Florida, there will be an intra-squad encounter as part of South Africa's only warm-up match.
The United States and Canada match in Texas on June 1 will mark the start of the T20 World Cup 2024. The highly anticipated blockbuster match between India and Pakistan, longtime rivals, will take place at the Nassau County International Stadium on May 9, just one week from now.
